Olivia has always enjoyed traveling and has visited many destinations, including Honduras, Prague, and Paris to name just a few. She even spent a semester in London at Sotheby's Institute of Art while getting her M.A. in Interior Design. Living in the city while studying was an amazing experience and she took in as many shows and traveled as much as her schedule allowed in her short time there.
As exciting as traveling was early in her marriage, nothing prepared her for how much more special it would be to share adventures with their son Owen. When he was just 4 months old, he enjoyed his first trip to the beach in Cape May, NJ. He flew for the first time just a few days after his first birthday. He was a born traveler right from the start.
Though she loved visiting new locations with her family, Olivia hesitated to visit Disney World with Owen. He has special needs, crowds and waiting in long lines can be challenging for him. He also tires out quickly and walking all over the parks would be difficult. Everyone else was visiting "the mouse" but it seemed impossible for her family. As she watched many of her friends sharing photos from their trips, she thought more about at least attempting to visit the parks with Owen. With just a little pressure from her Mother in Law, they booked a room and boarded a plane for the family's first trip to Orlando in March of 2018.
Olivia will never forget the magic and joy on Owen's face when they walked onto Main Street for the first time. She cried happy tears behind her sunglasses as he took in his first Disney parade. The family even had to be escorted out of the "Hall of Presidents" because Owen was so thrilled by the show he didn't want to leave. By the end of their first trip, they were already talking about when they could go back. They returned in November of 2018 to experience Disney at Christmas, which was every bit as magical as everyone says it is.
When the opportunity to become a Dream Vacation Maker with LBAC Travel came up, Olivia was excited about the chance to help families just like hers travel to Disney locations. She wants all families to feel like Disney is for them, and do whatever she can to make your first trip (or your 100th trip) as magical as her family's experiences have been.
